Happy 23:59:60!
Shortly before 7 PM Eastern, I was reading about the proposal to
eliminate leap seconds from UTC because of all the problems they pose
to modern computers.
Then, approximately one second after 23:59:59 UTC, the X server
unceremoniously exited.
